A salt lake on the Absheron Peninsula can turn soft pink in the right conditions. The colour is a natural effect, not a promise for every visit.

Salt is extracted here. Parts of the shore belong to a working industrial site; use permitted viewpoints and respect fences.

These photographs show Lake Masazır with subdued colouring. A vivid pink is not visible at all times.
Search for Masazır gölü (Masazir Lake), and confirm the exact accessible viewpoint with your driver. Arrange your return before leaving Baku.
Treat the lake as a short photo stop. Allow for weather, light and local access, and do not plan your day around a guaranteed pink view.
