Lakefront
On a good day, a simple walk by the lake is already enough to understand the place.
Why Tegernsee?
Nature and food work well together
Tegernsee is more than a quick photo opportunity. It is a good place for a lake walk and Bavarian food.
The lake, town and station
Tegernsee can mean both the lake and the town
Tegernsee can mean both the lake and the town by the lake. When planning, distinguish between the station, the lakeside, a specific restaurant and the wider lake area.
At the lake
Walk first, then eat
Getting there
Tegernsee is reachable by train and can also be the end point of a hike from Schliersee.
Take time
The area works better if you do not rush from the station to a photo spot and straight back again.
Bräustüberl
Herzogliches Bräustüberl Tegernsee

How to use it
